Anthony served with honor and distinction in the U.S. Army, rising through the enlisted ranks before becoming an officer and retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after 26 years. Combat deployments included Iraq, Afghanistan, and the first Gulf War in 1990. His numerous assignments included the Pentagon Joint Staff, Northern Command, Italy, Korea, and many stateside assignments. His awards and decorations included the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Airborne Wings, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Gold Medal.

After retiring from the Army, Anthony served as Director of Business Development for Aspen Communications, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. He also served as Legislative Affairs Assistant for U.S. Representative Mike Coffman, focusing on small businesses, veterans’ healthcare, education, defense budget, and national security.

Anthony earned a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University. He is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College. He has had a lifelong study of martial arts where he holds a 6th Dan in Chung Do Kwan and a 1st Dan in Judo.

Anthony was first elected to House District 44 in 2022 and currently serves as the House Minority Caucus Chair.
